Responsibilities

geekette will ensure that all services are provided in accordance with the agreed timeframe and to a professional standard.
Clients are required to arrange for reasonable access by us to relevant individuals and documents and shall be responsible for both the completeness and accuracy of the information supplied to us.

Period of Engagement

This engagement will start upon acceptance of the terms of engagement by geekette.  If there is a change of charges, then a new agreement letter will be required to be signed.

Confidentiality

In conducting this engagement, information acquired by us in the course of the engagement is subject to strict confidentiality requirements. That information will not be disclosed by us to other parties except as required or allowed for by law, or with your express consent.

Copyright

The intellectual property rights and copyright of geekette vested in all software products and hard-copy or electronic manuals and documentation are vested in geekette, which reserves the right to use the software or material, or any part of it in other applications and for its own use.

Development Work Credit

geekette reserves the right to develop and publish a case study on the work performed (no identifiable information will be shown without permission).

Limited Liability

In no event shall geekette or its suppliers be liable for any accidental, consequential, incidental or indirect damages of any kind arising out of the use or of the inability to use the software. In no event shall geekette’s liability for any claims whether in contract, tort or other theory of liability exceed the purchase price of the subject products or services, unless such limitation of liability is otherwise prohibited by law.

Estimated Pricing

Unless otherwise stated in writing, any estimates which we provide to you of our anticipated fees and charges for any Training or Consulting and for any material provided by geekette for the term of training only are only indicative of the amounts you can expect to be charged. Estimates are not quotes and are not binding on us.

Professional Fees

The terms of payment are strictly 30 days from invoice. Accounts overdue by the due date on the invoice will incur a 15% late payment fee, and for each subsequent 30 days an additional 15% late payment fee of the total invoice amount. If we incur any costs of collection, such as legal fees and collection agency fees etc., you agree to indemnify us for all such costs.  Terms of trade must be agreed to prior to the commencement of any work.
If training is cancelled within 5 full working days’ notice, 50% of scheduled fees will be charged.
